Services used on Asia Travel Lab
Service notice reviewed: October 4, 2026. This notice supplements the cookie information and consent controls below.
Consent preferences
Complianz and the WordPress consent integration remember and communicate your category choices. Consent preference cookies help the site remember those choices. You can revisit the site’s cookie preferences control to change or withdraw consent.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit for traffic and site-performance measurement. Google’s analytics and advertising storage consent defaults are denied worldwide until a consent choice is received. Google Analytics cookies, when permitted, may include _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which distinguish visitors and maintain session state. Denied storage consent does not necessarily stop all requests: Google Consent Mode can send cookieless measurement signals. Read how Google uses information from partner sites.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand page interaction and improve navigation. The site’s consent integration communicates analytics and advertising choices to Clarity. When cookie use is permitted, Clarity may use _clck to retain a site-specific user identifier and preferences, and _clsk to connect page views into a session. Requests may also occur without analytics cookies, depending on the service configuration and consent state. See Microsoft’s Clarity cookie documentation for provider details.
Google advertising technology
Google AdSense advertising code is installed on this site. Advertising availability can vary; the presence of the code does not mean that an advertisement is displayed on every page. Google advertising technologies may process technical information for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization consent defaults are denied worldwide until a consent choice is received. See Google’s advertising technology information.
Cookie reference for these services
This reference combines provider documentation with our October 4, 2026 browser check. It is not an exhaustive scan of every browser, region, advertising partner or third-party domain. The consent-management cookies are described in the generated list below.
| Service and cookie | Purpose | Lifetime reference |
|---|---|---|
Google Analytics: _ga | Distinguish visitors for traffic measurement. | Google’s default is two years; browser limits and service settings may shorten this. |
Google Analytics: _ga_PET17CQEMG | Maintain session state for this site’s Analytics connection. | Google’s default for this cookie family is two years. The remaining lifetime of an existing cookie does not establish its original lifetime. |
Microsoft Clarity: _clck | Remember a site-specific Clarity user identifier and preferences. | Approximately 365 days in our consent-accepted browser check. |
Microsoft Clarity: _clsk | Connect page views into one Clarity session recording. | Approximately one day in the same check. |
These analytics cookies are not consent-preference cookies. Consent choices are communicated to the providers as described above; a denied storage choice does not by itself establish that no cookieless requests occur. Google Site Kit may separately collect plugin usage statistics from administrators who opt in; its internal tracking identifier is not this site’s visitor Analytics connection and was not present in the public pages checked.
Analytics cookie duration reference
Google documents a default lifetime of two years for _ga and _ga_<container-id>. These cookies were present in our browser check on October 4, 2026, but an existing cookie’s remaining lifetime is not proof of its original configured lifetime. Browser limits and service settings can shorten the period. See Google’s cookie documentation.
In our browser check on October 4, 2026, accepting consent resulted in Clarity’s _clck and _clsk cookies being stored with approximately 365 days and one day remaining, respectively. Returning to denied consent removed these two site cookies in that test. This observation is not a guarantee of identical behavior in every browser or region, and cookie lifetime is separate from the provider’s retention of collected data.
The cookie names above are examples associated with the services, not a claim that every listed cookie is stored during every visit. Actual cookies and their lifetime depend on consent, provider configuration, and browser settings. Withdrawing consent changes subsequent consent signals; it does not necessarily delete every cookie previously stored by a provider. Your browser also provides controls for inspecting and deleting stored cookies.
This Cookie Policy was last updated on August 13, 2026 and applies to citizens and legal permanent residents of the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
